One Life at a Time is a non-profit organization that focuses on educating disadvantaged citizens of third-world countires, especially focusing currently in Central America. Helping people is much more than sending handouts that actually end up hurting more than helping in the long-run. There are few non-profit organizations that truly focusing on helping the masses by teaching them to help themselves. Our vision encompasses a program where students, that generally earn less than $3 a day, and usually don't have a high school education, can come to a school without tuition costs and earn a practical education. The graduates of the schools run by One Life at a Time have exceptional skills and a high job placement/internship placement rate (around 80%).
